Last week, Snug Harbor Elementary School celebrated Read Across America month in style with a week-long event, "Read Across Snug Week."
The festivities included the Scholastic Book Fair and featured guest readers from the community, including QPS Director of Curriculum Mike Marani, Quincy School Committee member Courtney Perdios, and retired QPS teacher Ray Papile, who shared their love of reading with students.
We also celebrated "Dress Like a Book Character Day," where students and staff came to school dressed as their favorite literary characters.
